As part of the preparation for the first investments in renewable energy and energy efficiency in Ukraine, respondo together with Green Energy One, has now designed the first virtual power plant in Ukraine.
The reference is a 1 kW solar PV and with the option of a 0,250 kW/4 hour battery.
The contracts are financial with settlement against the DAM – the Day Ahead Market in Ukraine.
Respondo started in July 2026 the administration of virtual power plants based on sales of solar power to the Day Ahead Market.
The contracts were for Stand-Alone Solar PV (VSPP) and for hybrid Solar PV with battery (VHPP).
A VSPP standard 1 kW contract gave sales revenues of 11,46 EUR in July. The VHPP with 1 kW Solar PV and 0,250 kW, 4 hour charging cycles, received revenues of 15,28 EUR, based on the strategies of battery charge and discharge over the day.
